Account & Business Information: Name, business name, ABN, industry, email address and contact details.
Chat Data: Conversations with “Joe”, our AI assistant, including message text, attachments and generated documents (invoices, quotes, job sheets, receipts).
Usage Data: Device/browser information, log data and analytics about feature usage.
Payment Information: Processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Information

Provide core features, including AI chat responses and document generation.
Improve accuracy and performance of our services.
Provide customer support and service communications.
Maintain security, prevent abuse and troubleshoot incidents.
Conduct analytics to understand and improve user experience.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

Chats: When a user deletes a chat, it becomes hidden from the user immediately and is permanently deleted from our servers and database after 30 days.
Account information: Retained while your account remains active or as required by law (e.g. tax/record‑keeping).
Payment records: Managed and retained by Stripe in line with their policies.

4. Sharing of Information

We use trusted service providers to operate and support our platform:

Hosting & Infrastructure: Vercel, Neon, Fly.io
Payment Processing: Stripe
Analytics: Google Analytics

These providers may store or process data on our behalf in secure environments. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and ongoing monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage strong unique passwords and care when sharing sensitive information.

6. Your Rights

Subject to the Australian Privacy Principles, you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You may also request account deletion (noting that certain records may be retained where required by law).

7. International Use

Job Easy is designed for Australian businesses and is operated in accordance with Australian laws. We do not directly target users outside Australia.
